Terms of Service
These are the terms for using FitYou.do. They're written to be read, not skimmed past — the short version is: it's your data, we're not your doctor, the beta is free and the full release won't be, and you can leave at any time and take everything with you.
1. Who we are, and what this is
FitYou.do ("the service", "we", "us") is a personal health-tracking app operated by Analytica Quality Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16349815), whose registered office is at [registered office address]. It lets you record measurements such as weight, waist, blood pressure and pulse, keep a record of bowel habit and fasting, set goals, add notes, see how things change over time, and export everything you've recorded. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
2. The beta
The service is currently in beta. That means:
- While the beta is private, access is by invitation, and we may withdraw or limit it at our discretion. When it opens, anyone eligible under section 3 can sign up.
- Features may change, break, or be removed without notice while we work on them.
- The beta is free to use. When the full product is released the service will become a paid subscription (see section 8), and beta testers will be offered a discount on it.
- We'd like your feedback, but you're under no obligation to give any. Feedback you do give us may be used to improve the service without any obligation to you.
3. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. FitYou.do is built for adults tracking their own bodies, and the way it interprets measurements — BMI, waist-to-height ratio, blood pressure bands, basal metabolic rate — is drawn from adult reference ranges that don't apply to anyone younger. We ask for your date of birth and ask you to confirm you're 18 or over when you set up your profile, and we take your answers on trust. You must also provide a working email address that you control — it's how you sign in — and keep it up to date.
4. Your account and keeping it secure
There is no password. You sign in with a one-time link or code sent to your email address. That means your account is only as secure as your email account. You're responsible for keeping that secure, and for everything that happens under your account. If you think someone else has accessed it, contact us straight away.
One person, one account. Don't share your account or let someone else sign in as you — your records are yours, and the app has no way of telling two people apart.
5. Not medical advice
FitYou.do is a personal record-keeping tool. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose anything, and nothing in it — no chart, statistic, category, estimate, or piece of copy — is medical advice. Where the app shows a reading against a published reference range, it is describing where that reading sits, and nothing more. Its purpose is to help you describe what's been happening to someone qualified to interpret it.
If something feels persistently wrong, talk to your GP or another healthcare professional. Never delay seeking medical advice, or disregard it, because of something you did or didn't see in this app.
6. Your data
The records you create are yours. We store them so we can show them back to you, and for no other purpose. Specifically:
- We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone except the infrastructure providers we need to run the service.
- There are no advertisers and no third-party analytics or tracking in the service.
- Everything travels over HTTPS. Your email address, username, date of birth, notes, and the addresses and devices your sessions come from are stored encrypted. We hold the keys, so we can render your data back to you — this is not end-to-end encryption, and we don't claim it is.
- You can export everything you've recorded as a CSV at any time from your account page. The export contains your measurements, bowel records and notes, and never your name or email address.
- You can delete your account at any time (section 9). It happens seven days after you ask — a window in which you can cancel — and is then complete.

7. Acceptable use
Don't use the service to do anything unlawful, to record information about someone else without their agreement, to probe or attack the service, or to access anyone else's data. Notes are for your own records — please don't use them to name or describe third parties in ways they wouldn't want.
8. Fees
The beta is free. When the full product is released the service will become a paid subscription. Before that happens we'll tell you the price, the billing period, and any beta discount you're entitled to, with enough notice for you to decide whether to continue. If you choose not to subscribe you'll still be able to export your data and close your account. We won't charge you anything without your explicit agreement.
9. Closing your account, and termination
You can close your account at any time from your account page. Deletion is scheduled for seven days later and you're shown the date; until then you can cancel it with one tap. That week exists so that someone who got into your account can't erase it before you notice. Before you can confirm, the page has you download a CSV copy of everything you've recorded, so you leave holding it — we don't email it, so it never passes through anyone else's hands. When the day comes, everything is deleted — your profile, measurements, bowel records, goals, notes, sessions and security log — without trace. Nothing is kept for analytics.
We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, or if we have to in order to protect the service or other users. If we do, we'll tell you why unless we're legally prevented from doing so, and we'll give you the chance to export your data unless the breach makes that inappropriate.
We may also discontinue the service altogether. If we do, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and the ability to export your data before it's gone.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available but don't guarantee it, especially during the beta. We may change or remove features at any time; where a change would materially reduce what you can do with your data, we'll tell you in advance.
11. Liability
We provide the service "as is" during the beta, without warranties of any kind beyond those we can't exclude by law. To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service or from reliance on anything in it — including, for the avoidance of doubt, any decision about your health, diet or exercise made on the basis of the records you keep here or the figures the app derives from them. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited or excluded under the law of England and Wales.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service develops — certainly before the paid release. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top and, for anything that affects you materially, we'll email you at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute about them will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales. If you're a consumer, you keep any protections the law of the country you live in gives you that can't be overridden by contract.
